Perseo - Violin - Limited Edition

"Perseo"

Inspired by the statue "Perseus with the head of Medusa" of Benvenuto Cellini , an unique limited edition wood engraving.

Benvenuto Cellini hide his face on the back of the statue (behind the head of Perseo) so, in order to follow his idea and honour him, I hide his face inside the artwork as well.


This is a limited edition of 50 pieces, signed and numbered.

I create all my artworks from scratch: I carefully select the wood, cut it and sand it, paint it and burn it in my laser machine, wax it and varnish it, carefully pack and finally ship it.

Every piece is marked on the rear with our shop, my name “Diego Scaglia Rat” and I personally sign it one by one. Every poster is also provided with a hanging system so it comes ready to be installed on your wall!
